It is important to get everything as dry as possible for the next part: constructing the sandwich! | Take one large loaf, slice the top off and remove all of the bread from the insides. I used mine to dip into oil and balsamic vinegar that evening, to stop me feeling so miserable that I couldn't eat my sandwich yet! Also, fry a load of flavourful mushrooms and onions and steaks. Use good quality steaks for this as you will be able to tell the difference! |
Variations!
We went to a food fair and came back with some gorgeous foods- and some exotic meat burgers (from Kezie). So we thought, how will these work in the sandwich? |
The result? They kind of crumbled, I think due to using burgers rather than steaks, and were too small really to have a good portion of all of the different flavours. So- why am I telling you about the disaster? Because they tasted GOOD. And to encourage you to have a go and change it up a bit. Remember- the better quality the ingredients, the better the flavours! |
