Last year my mother in law wanted to get the family together before Christmas, and it happened to fall on Thanksgiving. Now, being English, I don't celebrate Thanksgiving but I wanted to do something special. So I decided to create a cornucopia centerpiece. I'm posting this now because I wanted to give enough time for any of my American friends to be able to organise this before any celebrations and also just because it is really fun!
Before putting into a pre-heated oven, cover with an egg wash to give it some nice colour. Then cook until it looks and feels done. Remove from the oven and let to cool before removing the tin foil.
Then fill with whatever fruits and goodies that you want, and place in the middle of your table!
